Alan Robert Ginsberg (MA, American Studies, Columbia University; JD, Boston University School of Law; BA, English and General Literature, Binghamton University) is a board member at the Center for American Studies at Columbia University. He has contributed as a freelance writer to periodicals including the Columbia Journalism Review, worked as a research analyst in financial institutions in New York, Los Angeles, and London, and served as in-house counsel and program director at a nongovernmental organization at the United Nations in New York promoting women’s rights in developing countries.
